In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Brooklyn-based Daptone Records, Jahmal Williams and the Hopps crew present the awesome 'Hopps x Daptone' collection. If you're not familiar, Daptone presses incredible soul music to vinyl and the Brooklyn airwaves and is the home of amazing musical artists like the Budos Band and the late Sharon Jones & Charles Bradley, This collab brings 2 icons of NYC culture together for the first time and blends the collective histories of raw street skating with rugged, unpolished sounds of true soul.
The collage graphic depicts the myriad of endless soulful performances brought to stage by Daptone Records over it's 20 year history, with the iconic Apollo Theater marquis as it's anchor.
